There was an excellent editorial in yesterday's La Crosse Tribune on some of the local effects of climate change, particularly on our winters.

On a related note, last week NOAA released a "2105 U.S. temperature recap" showing that 2015 was warmer than 20th-century average in every U.S. state. They created an excellent graphic showing which areas were warmer or cooler than average during certain months. It will be no surprise to us here in the Coulee Region that parts of our summer (July-August) were below average temperatures while November and December were far above average!
