La Crosse Area Planning Committee Annual Meeting!!! You’re Invited!!!

Following a short business meeting, technical committee members and the public are invited to join the LAPC Policy Board for complimentary hors d’oeuvres in an informal setting. Hope to see you there! 

AGENDA

1.      Approval of Minutes of the November 18, 2015 LAPC Meeting (Action Requested).

2.      Public comment relative to agenda items, with 5 minute time limit per comment.

3.      Resolution 1 – 2016 Amending the 2016 – 2019 Transportation Improvement Program (Action Requested).

Resolution 1 – 2016 adds the following projects to the TIP and updates information on existing projects:

243-08-024       IH 90, Safety Rest Area 31 Reconstruction. Construction in 2016.

243-16-012       CTH GI, Goose Island Campground, Recondition CTH GI, Design obligation 2016, Construction anticipated in 2018.

4.      Resolution 2 – 2016 Recognizing the Minnesota Department of Transportation Statewide Regional ITS Architecture (Action Requested).

Resolution 2 – 2016 recognizes the Minnesota Department of Transportation Statewide Regional ITS Architecture as the regional architecture that shall govern all ITS improvements in Minnesota and within its metropolitan transportation planning area.

5.      Update on the “FAST Act.”

Tom Faella will update the committee on the “FAST Act.”  The Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act, signed into law on December 4, 2015, provides five years of funding certainty for surface transportation. 

6.      Update on Blufflands Plan and Boundary Agreements.

Tom Faella will provide an update on the boundary agreement process and Blufflands Plan.

7.      Other business; Adjourn; Next meeting to be announced.
