Immediate action required

Several no good very bad bills are rocketing through the Wisconsin state legislature. Many would remove or severely curtail long standing environmental protections. None were developed thoughtfully based upon citizen input (unless you count super-citizen ALEC) Because Republicans control both chambers of the state legislature, if your state representative or state senator is a Republican it is especially important that she/he hears from you!

 Bill authors have heard from conservationists like you from all across the state and are ready to work with us. You know the Developer Grab Bag is bad news for Wisconsin’s lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands – and your legislators are starting to get the picture.

On Tuesday, the Developer Grab Bag had a public hearing in the Senate. Today, it will be heard in the Assembly. Before today’s Assembly hearing, help us flood the Capitol with messages from Wisconsinites like you who care deeply about our precious natural resources
