Search "climate strike" and you will find that the upcoming September 20 Global Climate Strike is but one in a string of such events going back for several years. That we've known about this for several decades and are only now taking steps to force change is maddening. That the US government and fossil fuel industries have know about this problem since the 1950s and said nothing about it, seems criminal.
But, here we are, one step closer to the bottomless pit and still fighting for more coverage than the Country Music Awards or Packer's training camp.
A group of La Crosse area activists is organizing one or more community wide events for the latest day of global climate strike, Friday, Setember 20.
